"As an artist, I strive to recognize what is little considered or taken for granted in a space. Passion projects of mine intend to highlight this shadow, bringing newer stories to life, while reshaping older narratives to see more and something different. Through lighting for theatre and the design of immersive entertainment, I look to uncover those worlds lost or hidden. Whether it be a magical neon infused forest filled with mythical fairies amid a dynamic power struggle, or simply accenting the corner of a room with a unique texture of light, my work is both with- and in the shadows." | Blake Huntley (2022)
